Spring Hill Singers is a choral group open to all students in grades nine through twelve. Through preparation of anthems to lead in worship services throughout the year, the students learn Biblical truths and concepts to guide them in their daily lives. In addition to their sacred music, these committed students prepare and present Music for a Summer’s Evening, a high energy concert presented annually.
Following this concert, Spring Hill Singers (SHS) embark on a 10-12 day mission trip where they present this program in outdoor settings, parks, shopping malls, and even prisons. An additional Sacred Concert is shared with churches during the tour. They also prepare and teach Bible Schools and Back Yard Bible clubs with children in the area. Through the SHS Tour, the students are able to share God’s message through song, Bible teaching and personal relationships. Tour destinations have included Chicago, Boston, Myrtle Beach, and San Antonio.
Rehearsals are weekly on Sunday afternoons in the choir suite. Extra bonus rehearsals are held periodically throughout the year, with schedules given out at the beginning of the school year.
