WHAT SORT OF CHURCH
IS SPRING HILL?
We are a church of ordinary people serving an extraordinary God. We do our best to live according to Christ’s teachings. That isn’t always easy, so we do a lot to encourage one another as together we seek to grow in Christ. We don’t all share the same background, but we share the same faith in God and the same passion to serve.
WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
Pretty much what most Christians believe. We believe that God loves us in spite of our sins. We believe that Jesus Christ bore our sins on the cross and rose from the dead. We believe that Jesus gives eternal life to everyone who turns to him in faith.
Of course, we believe a whole lot more than this. Maybe the best way to summarize what we believe is to say we believe the Bible. That is, we believe the Bible conveys the mind and will of God. We don’t think we have all the answers, but we do think the Scriptures are the place to look for them. That’s why we are serious about Bible study.
WHAT IF I’M NOT BAPTIST?
No problem. Like any church, we have convictions that shape how we worship and serve. But we adhere to the dictum, “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.” At Spring Hill Baptist Church, you’ll find a warm Christian community that tries to bring people together, not divide them.
